dudeman : Dave - email me: «email». I'm in and out - developing a proper forum and new web site design that will be finished before the Fall rolls around!
Roland Cyr : ....but he is a busy dude....man...
Dave Caruso : It IS Sunday, after all!
Dave Caruso : Thanks, Roland! I'll watch for his reply.
Roland Cyr : Seen them many many times and they are always quite good...
Roland Cyr : Hey, Eric! Nice shout out to The Kennedys in the July Jangle On column...
Roland Cyr : Anyway, Dave, Bruce (dudeman) does roam these parts all the time...
Roland Cyr : me neither
Dave Caruso : Maybe someone will contact me...
Roland Cyr : I think you just did!
Dave Caruso : How does a person request a music review up in here?
Goran Johansson : Wish I was there, Bruce! Can imagine a very Heavy sound.
dudeman : Goran, you should have seen these guys live - I saw them around 2000 in NYC and...it was like out of a 50s Godzilla movie. They had these circa 1972 Roxy Music glammy outfits and they trounced around the stage like they were going to swallow up anyone who got near...and the "Soon" material was amazing live, too. Crazy insane.
Goran Johansson : I agree about "Soon", Bruce! Got it from your not lame back in the good old days!
dudeman : JANGLE ON - July column, just poted - «link»
dudeman : LOST TREASURES - remember them from the late 80s?! VELVET ELVIS - just posted - «link»
dudeman : Goran, the best Lollypop Factory for me is "SOON", which came out in 1999, if I recall correctly. It's like a heavy metal combo of Queen and Jellyfish - crazy good!
Goran Johansson : Ok. James. About Lollipop Factory; I have one full length cd, "Away In A Trailer" from 2007 and "Eat Cake EP" from 2010./Goran (Sweden)
Goran Johansson : Hi, James F!
steve gregory : Given the boy Webb's sublime 1971 solo-with-piano version on youtube, how much would the Richard Harris version of "MacArthur Park" have been improved without the John Miles "Music"-kinda bombast?
Drew KNARR : The Wondermints are one of my FAVORITE bands, but I wondered where this song is available? That band just MELTS my BRAIN! (Brian? Brian Brain?)
Todd Bishopp : Is there any info or update on the Jellyfish book by Craig Dorfman?
